At BTD, our quality assurance and quality control protocols encompass four aspects certifications (including ISO certification), procedures, technology and people. Each of these aspects is integral to one another. Together, they are the reason why BTD can say it rises above the rest.

Quality People and Systems
Ultimately, quality is a reflection of our people and their commitment to quality systems. BTD is not only committed to maintaining consistent product quality, but also the means to achieve it. This leads to a continuous drive for improved performance that benefits both BTD and our customers.

ISO Certification and Welding Certifications
As can be expected from our certification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard, BTD follows a series of strict policies and procedures to deliver first-class metalwork and services.

BTD’s welding departments are largely staffed with AWS and/or CWB certified welders. In addition, certified welding supervisors and inspectors are available to assure weld integrity.

Instruments and Technology Support Quality Control
BTD maintains temperature controlled quality labs to assure our gauges and instruments meet certification standards. Product quality is assured through the use of a variety of controlled processes and precise instruments.

BTD's quality assurance equipment includes the latest Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for measuring to precise specifications. FaroArm® Technologies, stationary CMMs, height gauges, calipers, micrometers, protractors and other instruments are used throughout our facilities to ensure that our customer’s high standards and expectations are maintained.
