Powder Coating and Liquid Coating for Finishes that Ensure the Perfect Coating Every Time
After machining and before finishing, each part or assembly is blasted and cleaned by using one of three methods: air blasting, table blasting or automatic blasting.
Final finishing is applied to parts and assemblies up to 20' wide by 35' long — or when required, entire machines. BTD uses traditional liquid coating or powder coating for final finishing.
Liquid paint is applied in a 5' by 10' pass-through paint booth assuring exact specification coatings all the time, every time.
Powder coating is applied in one of four dual-spray station powder booths. Positive and negative charges assure every surface and crevice receives a uniform coating.
A 1000' conveyor pass-through paint booth conveniently handles small to medium size parts and fabrications. We also maintain an enclosed booth to allow the largest assemblies and even entire machines to be finish painted.
To assure our paint meets customer specifications, BTD’s quality-assurance equipment measures mill thickness, hardness, adhesion and gloss requirements.
