Employees Recognized for Their Years of Service

This October, BTD will be celebrating three employees for their years of service. Two employees, one in Minnesota and one in Illinois, have been with BTD for 10 years. The third, in Minnesota, will be celebrating 25 years of service. BTD recognizes and thanks these individuals for their contributions.

Illinois Facility Adds New Business

During the month of September, BTD was honored to add three new accounts to its diverse customer list.  In mid-September, we received a purchase order from one of the largest producers of Patented Track Cranes in North America.  In addition, we will be working with one of the largest farm equipment manufacturers in the Midwest. New Machine Added In Lakeville to Increase Precision

Our Lakeville facility has added a Brown & Sharp CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to its already impressive line-up.  The new machine is accurate to 20 millionths of an inch – in other words – extremely precise!  We will be utilizing this new equipment primarily within our machining department.

John Deere to Spend $124M On Two New Factories

According to a recent article in Bloomberg Businessweek, Deere & Co. will invest $124 million to build two new factories in Brazil.  This expansion is in response to a growing demand for construction equipment in South America.  Construction on the factories is expected to be complete by 2013.
