2011 Proved to be an Excellent Year for Manufacturing
Jan 26, 2012
The Association for Manufacturing Technology recently reported that 2011 was a year of exceptional growth for the manufacturing sector. In 2011 total manufacturing technology orders came to $463.32 million, up 80.5% from 2010. A surge such as this suggests that the economy as a whole is improving too.
With positive factors like the reshoring phenomenon and a growing number of exports leaving the United States continuing, 2012 looks to be another positive year as well.
